The company was started in February 2002 as a registered private limited company. The company was founded by four directors all amateur astronomers and keen believers in potential of astronomy and science in the education sector. The founders are Mr. Sachin Bahmba, a noted educationist and social worker, Mr. C B Devgun, a renowned amateur astronomer and an authority in the field of astronomy. Co-founders of the company are Mr. Pankaj Sharma and Mr. Amitabh Pandey both noted amateur astronomers in India. They are also the directors of the company and the organisation is run through a professional management under the CEO.
